Description

A digital workshop: one bus connects all sensors

Product Gallery

An automation line in Dongguan used 32 sensors. Before, each sensor needed its own cable to the PLC. The wiring looked like a spider web. We gave them sensors with a built-in digital transmitter. They hung all of them on one RS485 bus in a daisy chain. The PLC read all weights with one cable. The electrical engineer said: "Wiring used to take a whole day. Now it takes one hour."

Plug and play: change a sensor without re-calibration

Each built-in digital transmitter has a unique 7-digit serial number from the factory. Users set the node address (1-247) via software. When you replace a sensor, just set the new sensor's address to match the old one. The system recognizes it automatically. No need to re-calibrate (as long as the capacity and sensitivity are the same). For a scale platform with 4 digital sensors on the same bus, the indicator calculates corner corrections automatically. No potentiometers needed. A common question: "Can your built-in digital transmitter work with a 100-meter cable?" Yes, RS485 works at that distance. Yixing Silvanus Electric Manufacture Co., Ltd. has been making digital sensors since 2007. Choosing us makes your sensor network as simple as USB.
