A gas station's explosion-proof indicator
A gas station in Sichuan needed to add weighing display for their tanks. The area was Zone 1. We used an intrinsically safe explosion-proof weighing indicator, Ex ib IIB T4 Ga. It has a built-in isolating safety barrier. It connects directly to intrinsically safe sensors. The indicator was placed in the station office, 200 meters away from the field. The safety assessment passed on the first try. The station manager said: "Leave professional work to professionals."

Built-in safety barrier: direct connection to Ex i sensors
The intrinsically safe explosion-proof weighing indicator has an integrated isolating safety barrier. No external barrier needed. It provides an intrinsically safe excitation output (5V/50mA). Sensor cable length up to 200 meters. It also has an intrinsically safe RS485 port for Ex i barcode scanners or printers. We also have a remote display version: the safe-area indicator sends a signal via fiber optic to a flameproof display in the hazardous area. A common question: "Can your explosion-proof weighing indicator be used in a Zone 0 area?" The Ex ib version is suitable for Zone 0.
