How we solved a chemical plant's level problem
A chemical plant in Shandong used radar level meters for their reactor vessels. But the material had vapor. The radar often lost signal. This caused overflow. We suggested using weighing instead. We put one tank weighing load cell under each of the three legs. Accuracy C3, capacity 50 tons. After installation, the weight shown on the indicator matched the actual material added exactly. The client said: "Weighing is the most direct method. Vapor does not affect it." Sometimes the simplest way is the most reliable.
