The 500℃ test in a foundry

A foundry in Shanxi needed to weigh molten steel ladles online. The ambient temperature was near 500℃. We used a high-temperature load cell plus a water cooling jacket. The sensor body used Inconel high-temp alloy. After cooling water flowed through, the sensor temperature stayed below 70℃. The customer has used it for two years. None have failed. They said: "Your high-temperature load cell really resists heat."

Water-cooled version: withstands 500℃
If your temperature exceeds 250℃, we offer a water-cooled version. The high-temperature load cell has internal water channels. Feed 5-25℃ cooling water. The sensor body stays below 70℃. This allows regular high-temp strain gauges to work in 500℃ environments. We also integrate a PT100 temperature sensor inside. It monitors the body temperature in real time and alarms if overheated. A common question: "Can your high-temperature load cell work in a vacuum furnace?" Yes, but please confirm your vacuum level with us. Yixing Silvanus Electric Manufacture Co., Ltd. has been making high-temp sensors since 2007. Choosing us means high temperature is no longer a barrier to weighing.
