A safe retrofit for an oil and gas tank farm
An oil and gas station in Xinjiang needed to retrofit tank weighing in a Zone 1 area. We used an explosion-proof weighing module. The sensor was Ex ia IIC T6 Ga (intrinsically safe). The junction box was Ex d IIB T6 Gb (flameproof). All cables were sealed with explosion-proof cable glands. The indicator was placed in a control room 200 meters away. The project passed acceptance on the first try. The safety supervisor said: "Choosing you saved us a lot of worry."

Safety barrier isolation, remote indicator
