A feed mill says goodbye to "out-of-material shutdowns"
A feed mill in Henan used to check material levels by hitting the silo with a hammer. They often ran out and had to stop production. We installed a hopper weighing scale on each of their four silos. Three modules per silo. The indicator shows real-time weight. We set a low-level alarm at 5 tons. When it hits that, automatic refill starts. They have not stopped for lack of material since. The factory director said: "That investment paid back in three months."

The matching indicator has continuous weighing, high/low level alarms, history curves, and inventory reports. When the level drops below the low setpoint, it outputs a switch signal to start refill equipment. When it hits the high limit, it stops. Data goes via RS485/Ethernet to a central control room for plant-wide material monitoring and automatic scheduling. We also have a mobile app to check inventory remotely.
